A Persian Kashan Rug hand knotted in North West Iran from excellent quality wool. The rug features a classic central medallion adorned with palmettes, flowers and fronds, with these motifs continued in the central area and borders of the rug. Traditional rich red, deep blue and cream colours are used to delineate the motifs, from large palmettes in the corners to small sprays of flowers set against the rich red ground.
