Antique Square Persian Mahal Rug
An antique Persian Mahal carpet from North West Iran with a classic floral palmette design. This piece has a traditional red ground colour with an indigo blue border though it is very unusual to find one in such a large square size. Woven in the late 19th century, this rug is in excellent condition for its age.
