Antique South Persian Qasqai Rug

A tribal Qasqai rug from the Fars province in the South of Iran, depicting plants and birds on a royal blue ground, circa 1880. These types of rugs are woven by nomadic people using weaving methods going back over 1000 years. Would look perfect in any room setting whether contemporary or traditional.
