Afghan Kazak Rug

Kazak (Gazakh) is a small city in North Western Azerbaijan, controlling routes between Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. While Kazak rugs are now hand knotted in Afghanistan, the patterns are influenced by the ancient designs from the Caucasus mountains surrounding the city of Kazak, typically geometric in design with bold reds, blues, greens and yellows, often with animal and floral motifs.Please contact us for more information and stock availability.
